#1800 Minutes

I failed and I failed well! I remember last year I was pumped,I had a goal and I was going to lose weight and get fit. Remember? If not well I do. Someone help me! Someone motivate me! Keep on going! That failure had been weighing me down a lot until I realized I can do something about it. I remembered that my mom had bought a Zumba Fitness 6 pack DVD and thought that will be great I will do it. And guess what?------------ I did! I have been doing Zumba gradually increasing my days from 2 times a week to 3 and it was really paying off. I still love Zumba do not get me wrong,Beto sure knows how to make me sweat and look like a fool. (Luckily  I am in my own home.) This girl CANNOT dance, but she sure tries.

Why to do it?
Zumba changed my life in so many ways. From hating exercise to looking forward to class. Having support friends to laugh with, dance & exercise all in one. I take class for $4 a class when I sign up for the month or $5 as a drop in. Check out Zumba.com for classes near you!

I am ready for More! Over the past week I was wondering about ways to up my workouts beyond the Zumba with my cousin and then suddenly one of my favorite bloggers posted about the #1800 minute Challenge. Oh baby am I excited. This might be a struggle to find the time to workout everyday for two months, but I am going to do it! I am hoping to get others to join for motivation.

I have a nice little board on pinterest that  I am going to use quite often as well as the track by my house and Blogaloties. There are so many resources out there for working out there really is no longer a valid way for me to claim " A gym membership is too much money."

I am so excited to do this challenge and would love it if you wanted to do it as well. It will be a great way to get that somewhat summer body and maintain the habit of working out #howevermanyminutesareinadailyworkout (Failed on the hash tag thing, whoops) I am not failing on the workouts this year. I am already off to a great 20 pound start!
