How Much Does Kindness Cost?

It is often assumed that in order to share kindness large amounts of money need to be poured out into something extravagant. This is just an assumption that can only be looked to sometimes. The most important part of kindness is to take the time to just be kind.

always be kind
I was extremely inspired when my aunt told me a story about her son and the lawn mower. My cousin, who had already spent hours mowing my grandparents lawn made sure that he stopped and mowed this elderly ladies yard when she was out mowing it.

My Uncle Billy is a huge example of kindness whether he is just sending qick text message wishing his friends and family a good day or he is finding someway to help those in need. I am inspired by all the love and help he provides for anyone who asks or doesn't ask. One day he gave about $20.00 to a pregnant woman that was in a bit of a rut. I am inspired by the love and kindness he gives without expecting anything in return.

My Best Friend spent six hours of his time making sure that the blog you are currently reading looks amazing. Now that is kind.

The MLL (More Love Letters) community. I know I have mentioned this before, but it truly is inspiring to write a letter with some kind and loving words to a stranger to help them feel loved and supported. I encourage you to check out the website, grab a pen and a piece of paper and get writing. I know that I have enjoyed the writing and am glad to know that I have helped someone in need.

Most importantly, kindness to someone can be such a thing like holding the door and sharing a smile with someone. A simple smile or "Hello, I hope you are having a good day." can make a huge difference in someones day.

I hope you make the time to be kind today and even later.
